What’s the appeal in dropping every conventional way of eating for fruit? Why would you choose bananas over bread? Because, my friends, they love you.
On a low-fat raw vegan diet, you’ll have more energy, your mind will be clearer, your skin will be softer, you’ll lose weight, your digestive system will regulate, and you’ll feel better about yourself. All because your food loves you back.
If you think about it logically, we were made to eat fruit. As many raw foodists have said before, we weren’t born with stoves on our backs. We are the only species on the planet that uses fire to enhance our food. Doesn’t that seem a little odd?
A fruit’s entire purpose is to seduce you to eat it so you’ll spread its seeds. The tree makes the fruit as bright, fragrant, and delicious as it does because it wants to attract you. And, conversely, we find the fruits attractive because we were made to eat them. Put a baby in front of a raw chicken and a banana; which one do you think it would choose?

Yum?
In the eleven months since I’ve gone LFRV, I have lost nearly twenty-five pounds and two dress sizes. I have completely gotten rid of bumps I used to have on my face. I’d had them for about three years, and had tried creams and heavy scrubbing, but nothing worked. Now, my face is as smooth as anything. I have more self-esteem. I’m more confident. I’m stronger emotionally. I’m figuring out who I am, and I’m liking that person more and more each day.
That’s why.
